Who we are

We are an open, welcoming group of neighbors on the Far North Side working for a just, equitable future. We oppose authoritarianism, oligarchy, and all systems that deny dignity, opportunity, and equality. We believe community and collective action are the sources of our strength. As a local chapter of Indivisible, we are part of a nationwide movement fighting for a democracy that lives up to its promise.

Our Mission

Creating an inclusive and joyous community, rebuilding democracy for all, electing genuinely progressive leaders, and defeating the MAGA agenda are central to our philosophy.

Our Neighborhood

We may have Edgewater in our name but if your home is Uptown, Rogers Park, West Ridge, or Andersonville, you are home with us, too!

Meet the Organizers

Find a political home with us. Let's get to know each other and build the community!

How We Act

Fight Back

To seize power and defend democracy, we canvass hard and make our voices heard. We coordinate with the Indivisible Chicago Alliance to phone bank, write postcards, hold voter education events, and protest.

Hyperlocal Organizing

We raise donations for our neighbors in need, partnering with Care for Real, RefugeeOne, and Organized Communities Against Deportations (OCAD). We protect schools and the community by organizing rapid response teams.

Monthly Meetings

On third Sundays, we meet to build connections, hear guest speakers, and hold trainings. Meet us here or at our weekly street corner protests to get involved.
